Gil Louis Schnur

Gil Louis Schnur, a devoted family man, loyal friend, and steady presence to all who knew him, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at the age of 69. His life was defined by quiet strength, generosity, and a deep commitment to the people he loved.

Born on July 27, 1955, in Orlando, FL, Gil grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and a work ethic that carried him through every chapter of his life. He built a career in Pool construction and maintenance. He founded and ran Orlando Pool Master (OPM), where he was respected not only for his skill and creativity but also for his integrity and kindness. Colleagues often remembered him as someone who could be counted on—steady, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand.

Gil’s greatest joy came from his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, his mother, Darlene, and his brother, Kevin. He is survived by his brothers Steven and Wray; his sister Lori Caye Miller; his son Chrispin and daughter Melissa; and his grandchildren Jordan and Thomas Schnur, each of whom he cherished deeply. He took pride in their accomplishments, supported them through challenges, and celebrated every milestone with a full heart.

Those who knew Gil will remember his gentle humor, his unwavering loyalty, and the way he made others feel seen and valued. His presence brought comfort; his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.
