Party For Derby Racers Planned

Roger Holler Will Give Dinner

Roger Holler, local Chevrolet dealer, will be host at a banquet on Friday evening, Sept. 20, to local entrants in the Soapbox Derby, their sponsors and representatives of companies who donated prizes.
Honored guest will be Ralph Schnarr, winner of the local contest who attended the National Soapbox Derby in Akron, Ohio. Young Schnarr, while there, won a trophy for entering the best up-holstered car.

Among other guests to be invited to the banquet at Langston’s Restaurant, Holler said, will be H. P. Sattler of Jacksonville, zone manager of Chevrolet; Martin Andersen, publisher of Orlando Daily Newspapers; the approximately 50 boys who participated in the local contest; about 25 sponsors or parents; and about 25 heads of local concerns who donated prizes for the local race.
After-dinner entertainment will be a feature of the evening.
