1924 – 2017

Ralph J. “Snuffy” Schnur, 92, of Apopka, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. He was the son of the late Florenze and Ida Schnur. He served his country as a member of the US Navy on the USS Yorktown during World War II.
He retired from ATT&T after a long career and enjoyed Square Dancing and Snickers Bars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Darlene; three sons, Steven, Gil, and Wray; one daughter, Lori; one brother, Charles; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Keven.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 13, 2017, 10 am at Resurrection Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 3-5 pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
